Monterossa

The Estate
One of Franciacorta's most dynamic estates, Monterossa is celebrated for wines of exceptional finesse and consistent international recognition. The Ziliani family, who founded the estate in 1974, have invested heavily in both viticulture and cellar technology over five decades.
The estate's Cabochon Brut Millesimato — a vintage Franciacorta aged for over three years on the lees — is consistently ranked among the finest sparkling wines produced in Italy, having won numerous international awards including the coveted Tre Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso multiple times.
Monterossa's wines are distinguished by their creamy mousse, complex autolytic character, and remarkable freshness from the Lake Iseo influence. The estate's commitment to minimal intervention and long lees ageing produces sparkling wines that develop extraordinary depth and complexity while retaining the vivid freshness that is Franciacorta's calling card.
