ABOUT

The Estate

Founded by Maurizio Zanella in 1968 — when Zanella was just 15 years old — Ca' del Bosco is the estate that put Franciacorta on the global wine map. His visits to Champagne in the early 1970s convinced him that the glacial moraine soils and cool lake-influenced climate south of Lake Iseo were capable of producing sparkling wines of international calibre.

Decades of investment in technology, viticulture, and oenology have validated his vision: Ca' del Bosco is now one of Italy's most awarded wine estates. The flagship Annamaria Clementi — named after Zanella's mother and produced from a selection of the estate's finest parcels — has been compared to Krug and Dom Pérignon in blind tastings.

The estate's sprawling parkland, sculpture collection, and architectural winery make it one of the most extraordinary wine destinations in Italy. For Vivo Wine Club, a visit to Ca' del Bosco is not just a wine tasting — it is an immersion in the art, ambition, and sheer elegance that defines Franciacorta at its finest.
