Born in 1964 in Montecarlo di Lucca, it owes its name, meaning 'good friend,' to its founders' wish to offer genuine, convivial wines. Today, under the Fontana family, it is the leading estate of the small and precious Montecarlo DOC, custodian of historic Tuscan and international grape varieties.
